What is a nicotine pouch?
A nicotine pouch is a small white pouch you tuck between your gum and top lip. There is nothing to light, no smoke, no vapour and no spit. It holds nicotine, plant fibre and flavour, but no tobacco leaf, which is what separates a pouch from traditional snus. You leave it in for up to an hour, then remove it.
How strong should you go?
Pouches are sold by strength in milligrams per pouch. Low sits up to 6mg, medium around 6mg to 9mg, strong around 9mg to 12mg, and extra strong is 12mg and above. If you are unsure, start a step lower than you think and move up. Our strength guide goes deeper.
