Most of the strong brands in our nicotine pouches hub sell mint, ice and berry. Après sells the taste of an aperitif, which is either exactly what you want or faintly ridiculous depending on who you ask. Either way, the pouches are good and the flavours are not a gimmick.
The Après range
Après is a slim all-white pouch, moist, with a high flavour load. The brand's whole identity is after-ski and after-work drinks, and four of the five tins follow it. We do not have a confirmed manufacturer or country of origin in our notes, so we will stick to what is in the tin.
Hugo Spritz is elderflower, lime and mint, and it is the best of the range. Pink Spritz is a grapefruit and berry mix. Tangerine Spritz is sweet orange with a bitter edge; the brand makes it at 15mg as well as 20mg, but the tin we stock is 20mg. Ice Tea Peach is what it says, peach tea with a cold finish. Menthol is the outlier, a plain strong menthol for people who like the brand but want nothing fancy.

Who Après suits
Après suits people already in the extra strong band who want a flavour they will actually enjoy rather than tolerate. If you have been using 16mg or 20mg mint for months and the flavour has become background noise, a tin of Hugo Spritz is a cheap reset.
It also suits the evening. The flavours are built for the hour after work, and a lot of people keep an Après tin for that slot and a plainer mint for the day.
It does not suit beginners, and we will be blunt about it. 20mg is more than twice the 9mg line where we stop recommending a tin to anyone new. The spritz flavours taste light and fruity, which makes it easy to forget how much nicotine is in the pouch, and a first-timer on 20mg will feel sick and shaky in minutes. Start in the low strength band and move up in steps.
If you use 10mg to 12mg tins and want to try Après, buy one tin, keep the first pouch in for 15 minutes rather than 45, and see.
Après compared
Killa is the mainstream extra strong brand and the one most Après buyers come from. Killa's standard line is 16mg, so Après is a step stronger. Killa's flavours are icier and more direct; Après is softer, sweeter and more complex. If Killa feels harsh, Après may suit you better even though the number on the tin is higher.
Iceberg is the comparison for flavour variety. Iceberg's range is far bigger, covers dessert and drink flavours too, and goes a great deal stronger. Après has five tins and does one thing well. Choose Iceberg for choice and for going above 20mg; choose Après if the cocktail angle is the point.

Frequently asked questions
Does Après contain alcohol?
No. The flavours are inspired by cocktails but there is no alcohol in the pouch. It is nicotine, plant fibre, water, flavouring and sweetener, the same as any tobacco-free pouch.
How strong is Après?
Every tin we stock is 20mg per pouch, which is extra strong. It is stronger than standard Killa (16mg) and about the same as Kuma. The brand makes Tangerine Spritz at 15mg too, but we do not currently stock that version.
What does Hugo Spritz taste like?
Elderflower first, then lime and a cool mint finish. It is the lightest-tasting tin in the range and the one that sells best. It is not sweet in the way a berry pouch is sweet.
Can I use Après pouches on a night out?

Is Après tobacco-free and legal in the UK?
Yes. There is no tobacco leaf in an Après pouch, and tobacco-free pouches are legal to buy and use in the UK for adults 18 and over.
