Reviews
How reviews are collected, why they are only requested after delivery, what customers tend to talk about, and why the widget is missing from this preview.
Quick answer: Reviews are collected from customers after their order has been delivered, through an independent review platform, and are published unedited. The live review widget is not shown in this preview build of the site, so no counts or ratings appear on this page.
Every review on this site comes from a customer who placed an order and received it. We ask for the review after delivery, not before, and we publish what comes back without editing it. The live review widget, which normally sits on this page and pulls in the latest reviews, is not shown in this preview build, so you will not see a star rating or a review count here until the site goes live.
How reviews are collected
A few days after your parcel is delivered, the review platform sends you one email asking how it went. You can rate the shop, rate the products you bought, or ignore the email. There is no reminder campaign and no incentive for leaving a review, because a review you were paid for is not worth much to the next person reading it.
Reviews are hosted by an independent platform rather than stored by us, which means we cannot delete a bad one or move a good one to the top. We can reply, and we do, particularly when something has gone wrong.
What we do and do not edit
We do not change the text of a review, the rating, or the order in which reviews appear. We do ask the platform to remove a review if it contains personal data (a full address, a phone number), abuse aimed at a named person, or if it turns out not to come from a verified order. That is the whole list.
If a review raises a problem we could have fixed, we contact the customer through the contact channel before replying publicly. Most of those end with a replacement in the post and a note on the review saying so.
What customers tend to mention
Reading through the reviews, the same handful of things come up again and again. We mention them here as themes rather than quotes, because the quotes belong in the widget where you can see the whole review and the date it was written.
- Speed. The 8:30pm cut-off and same day dispatch is the most common comment. Tracked Royal Mail orders placed in the evening often arrive the next day.
- Genuine stock. People who have been caught out by marketplace fakes say the tins here match what they used to buy in Sweden or on the high street. How to spot fake nicotine pouches explains why that matters.
- Range. Finding a brand that the local shop does not carry, or a strength the supermarket does not stock, is a frequent reason for a first order.
- Points and offers. The rewards scheme and the 99p lines get mentioned by regulars.
- When it goes wrong. The reviews that mention a missing or damaged parcel usually also mention how it was resolved. We would rather be judged on that than on a perfect record.
Product reviews
As well as shop reviews, customers can rate the individual tins they bought. Those product reviews feed into the brand pages across the nicotine pouches hub when the widget is live, and they are a useful counterweight to our own descriptions. If a tin we have described as mellow keeps being called harsh, we go back and retest it.
Leaving a review
You do not need an account. Wait for the email after delivery, or reply to your dispatch email and ask for the link. Say what you bought, what strength, and whether it did what you wanted. That is more useful to other readers than a star on its own. If you are still working out what to buy, the guides index is written by the same person who reads every product review.
