Who makes them
ZYN is Swedish Match, now owned by Philip Morris International. It was the first tobacco-free pouch brand most UK users heard of. The tin is small, the branding is plain, and the strength is printed as dots.
Nordic Spirit is Japan Tobacco International's brand, also made in Sweden. It arrived in the UK around the same time and built its reputation on a soft, comfortable pouch rather than on strength.
Dry mini vs moist slim
ZYN's low strengths (1.5mg to 6mg) are a Mini Dry format. The pouch is small and the material is dry when you open the tin. Dry pouches release slowly, drip very little and last a long time. The first few minutes feel mild. ZYN's 9mg and above tins are a slim, still on the dry side.
Nordic Spirit is a moist slim across the range. The pouch is thin, soft and flexible, it moulds to the gum, and it starts releasing within a minute or two. It drips more than a ZYN Mini but less than a VELO.

Flavours
