Mini nicotine pouches
The smallest pouch format, built for discretion. What a mini is, why it feels different, and which mini tins are gentle and which are not.

Quick answer: Mini nicotine pouches are the smallest format, about 0.3g to 0.5g a pouch and around 28mm long, so they sit almost invisibly under the lip. With less material, a 6mg mini feels gentler and shorter than a 6mg slim. UK minis run from FUMI Mini at 4mg and ZYN Mini at 6mg up to Killa Mini at 16mg, 77 Ghost Mini at 20mg and Pablo Mini at 30mg.
What counts as a mini
A mini is a pouch cut shorter and lighter than the standard slim. The exact figures vary by brand, but a mini is usually about 28mm long against 34mm for a slim, and weighs roughly half as much. Tins are the same diameter as a slim tin but often shallower, and hold 15 to 20 pouches.
Mini is one of the three sizes covered on our nicotine pouch formats page, alongside slim and large. Most UK brands treat it as a secondary line: the slim is the main range and the mini is a smaller cut of a few popular flavours.
Why a mini feels different
Two things change when you shrink a pouch.
The first is release. Nicotine moves out of a pouch through its surface into your saliva, and a smaller pouch has less fleece to hold it, so the same 6mg comes through faster and runs out sooner. A mini is usually done in 20 to 30 minutes where a slim lasts 45 to 60. The early part can feel slightly sharper, the later part is shorter.
The second is fit. A mini sits high and tight under the top lip, so there is no bump, no change to how you talk and nothing for anyone to notice. That is why it is the format people use in meetings, on public transport and at family dinners.
Many minis are also dry. ZYN's UK mini range is a dry pouch, which slows the release back down and cuts the drip. If you want to know what that does to the feel, our dry vs moist page compares the two.

Who minis suit
- Beginners. A FUMI Mini at 4mg or a ZYN Mini at 6mg is the gentlest pouch you can buy: low strength, small pouch, short session. Our low strength range has the full list of tins at 6mg and under.
- People who need to hide it. Office workers, drivers, anyone in a job where a visible lip bump is a problem.
- People with small mouths or sensitive gums. A slim can feel bulky or rub; a mini usually does not.
- Heavy users who still want discretion. Killa Mini at 16mg and Pablo Mini at 30mg exist for exactly this. They are not gentle; they are strong pouches you cannot see.
Minis suit fewer people as an all-day pouch. The short session means more pouches to get through a day, and at £4.29 to £4.49 a tin that adds up faster than slims.
Mini vs slim
The honest comparison: a slim gives you more flavour, a longer session and a feel you notice. A mini gives you discretion and a softer start at the cost of running out early. If a slim feels like too much in your mouth, try the mini of the same brand before dropping strength. If a mini feels like nothing, try the slim before going up.
Pablo and Killa both sell the same flavour in slim, mini and dry at the same strength, so they are the easiest brands for testing which format you prefer without changing anything else.
Buying mini pouches in the UK
Every mini on this page is tobacco-free and sold to adults aged 18 and over. Order before 8:30pm for same day dispatch, with free delivery once your basket passes £20. Minis go in and out of stock more than slims because they are secondary lines; if the one you want is sold out, the slim version is usually available at the same strength.

Frequently asked questions
Are mini nicotine pouches weaker?
Not by themselves. A 6mg mini contains the same nicotine as a 6mg slim. It feels gentler because it releases faster and runs out sooner. A 30mg Pablo Mini is still a 30mg pouch.
How long does a mini pouch last?
Around 20 to 30 minutes for most people, against 45 to 60 for a slim. Dry minis like ZYN last a little longer than moist ones.
Which mini is best for a beginner?
FUMI Mini at 4mg or ZYN Mini at 6mg. Both are low band, both small and both mild in flavour. Avoid any mini from Killa, 77 or Pablo as a first pouch, however discreet they look.
Can you see a mini pouch under the lip?
Almost never. It sits high against the gum and is too small to push the lip out. A slim can show as a faint bump when you smile; a mini does not.
